My question is the mesenteric artery included in CPT 93975. I believe all requirements are met for a duplex scan. She did a bilateral renal scan plus the mesenteric artery. Thanks for any advice!

Conclusions:1. Patent right renal stent by Doppler criteria.
2. Mild hydronephrosis of the right kidney, previously identified.
3. Patent left renal stent by Doppler criteria.
4. Increased resistive indices bilaterally suggest parenchymal disease.
5. Velocity is mildly elevated in the celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery.
Findings
Right:Right renal artery flow velocities and aortic ratio are normal.
Patent right renal stent by Doppler criteria.
Mild hydronephrosis of the right kidney, previously identified.
Left:Left renal artery flow velocities and aortic ratio are normal.
Patent left renal stent by Doppler criteria.

Renal artery duplex examination using B-mode, color flow, and spectral Doppler to assess arterial stenosis was performed.
