Will I be coding only a 29881 for this procedure:
Arthoroscopy, partial menisectomy; chondroplasty medial femoral condyle, and medial tibial plateau
Dx: Tear, posterior horn, medial meniscus [717.2]
Chondromalacia [733.92]
Brief op note.................Suprapatellar pouch and medial and lateral gutters were without gross pathology. There was mild inflammed synovium. Patellofemoral joint without pathology. Lateral joint line and meniscus without pathology. ACL and PCL intact. Medial joint line had large complex tear of posterior horn meniscus and chondromalacia of femoral condyle and tibial plateau. Tibial side superficial. Femoral side encompassed depth up to 50% of articular cartilage in some areas. The whole circumference of it was about 3 cm 2. Meniscal tear treated with baskets and shaver...........
