A 3cm incision was created overlying the palpable soft tissue mass in the anterior chest wall. Dissection was carried down through the subcutaneous fat using electrocautery. The mass was circumferentially dissected free from the subcutaneous fat and the posterior aspect was densely adherent to the pectoralis muscle. This portion was transected using electrocautery. The specimen was passed off the field and electrocautery was used for hemostasis within the wound at the site of muscle involvement. Surgical snow was placed in the wound and the skin was closed in layers of Monocryl and Dermabond.

Path came back as Melanoma

Do I report 11603 from the Integumentary System since that is where Melanoma originates from?

Not sure if you still need this information, but yes, this would be coded from the integumentary codes. Radical resection of lesions of cutaneous origin (melanoma, etc...) is coded using the integumentary code series 116XX.
