I was researching LCD requirements for 90832. I have a claim with DX 295.32, but LCD 26895 states only schizo unspecified is covered (295.20, 295.30, 295.40...). Why would Medicare cover an unspecifed code when a more specific code is available?
They clearly cover the condition and I dont believe condition is severe enough that psychotherapy wouldnt help (such as in severe dementia cases).
