I have a question regarding medicare .What are the most common modifiers used in a therapy setting with medicare patients? I know GP,GO and sometimes 59 are used. Are there any other modifiers that may be needed for the claims to be paid by medicare? Any feedback or advice would be appreciated! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Medicare billing for therapy

You may also use a KX modifier from time to time if you ever bill for therapy with a diagnosis that is not on the list of covered diagnosis for PT, OT or Speech therapy.
