Hello.
1. If I bill a procedure code that is covered and payed by my private payers, but it is a code that medicare and medicaid don't cover, do I still bill medicare and medicaid, knowing full well they won't cover?
2. Do I have Medicare and Medicaid patients sign an ABN form? And bill them for it?
3. Do I just not bill Medicare, Medicaid and the patient? Since I know its not a covered benefit.
Any information/guidance you could share would be most appreciated.
