Hello,
Currenlty I work in the Behavioral Health.
My company is going Intergrated with Primary Care services. Here is the question that I have. If a patient is InPatient at our Psych facility, how do we bill if a medical doctor does a medical evulation? (lets say it is not done on the date of omission, that I get.) My thoughts are to bill 99232, 99233 or 99234 depending on the complexity of medical issues/ time spent on exam/decision making etc.
Thank you for your time on this question
