I am new to the cardiovascular field and am trying to determine if Medical Assistance covers the Cardiolite or the generic Sestamibi used for the cardiac caths. If so, how do you code it? Is it a matter of having the NDC number?

Check the fee schedule for the codes. If you are not a facility, you would probably not bill for the contrast used in the cath.
