Is there a code that is more specific for this procedure? I feel like 97140 doesn't do justice to the procedure performed, this code appears (to me) not to be as in depth. Would you use an unlisted procedure of the spine in this instance?
 
does anyone have any ideas? I billed BC 22899 and got a denial stating this is an obsolete or invalid procedure code??
