Alright, can someone PLEASE tell me what the difference is between these two codes? I keep looking at them and see no difference.... because if it's other bursitis, wouldn't that mean it's not elsewhere classified? I just don't understand what the difference is....
 
M70 Vs M71

M70 codes are classified as bursitis due to use or over use (think sports injuries) while M71 is classified as bursitis due to infections, calcium deposits and all other types of bursopathies.
