Hi All,
I need a little help- I am looking for documentation on the average time a lumbar sprain strain takes to heal- I have a patient that has had one for over a decade- no imaging done since the initial injury. Has received recurring treatment for the problem elsewhere. New imaging shows herniated discs. Is it possible that the patient has had herniated discs for quite some time and since no imaging or change in plan of care had been performed by the previous physicians in over a decade, I guess this seems odd to me... No new injury reported by patient but has had stabbing pain down legs since initial injury..I guess this seems odd to me...
