Need help with CPTs. Physician wants 20680, 26445, 26340. Just not sure if I can code anything other than the 20680?
procedure: removal of retained K-wires right fifth metacarpal. Lysis of adhesions right little finger at the MCP joint. And manipulation of the right little finger at the MCP joint and PP joints.
op note reads: Small incision was fashioned first over the ulnar aspect of the fifth metacarpal neck. K-wires were identified and removed without difficulty. Care was taken to protect surrounding neurovascular structures. A second incision was fashioned in line of the old incision over the left radial aspect of the fifth metacarpal neck. The pin was identified and removed without difficulty. Some adhesions were gently released between the skin and the extensor mechanism over the little finger at the level of the MCP joint. The finger was then gently manipulated and I was easily able to maneuver the finger into the mid palmer crease without difficulty.
