Job Description:
- Perform medical billing and coding tasks under supervision.
- Apply coding standards (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) in real-world scenarios.
- Assist with the management of rejections, denials, and appeals.
- Gain hands-on experience with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
- Currently enrolled in a medical billing and coding program or recently graduated.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and coding principles.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Practical experience in a professional setting.
- Mentorship from experienced billing and coding professionals.
