Hello, I'm looking for my first real position in coding. I am currently working in collections at an agency and MRI check in at a local Orthopaedic practice. (I am not a collector, though...I deal with our clients with their accounts receivable and other services.) The Orthopaedic practice does not currently have anything open in billing, so I am branching out and looking elsewhere.
If anyone has a charge entry, E/M, ED, multi speciality outpatient coding position, please PM me. I am currently located in Connecticut and can work remotely or on site, with notice to relocate.
I have a resume and will send it, along with a cover letter, to any practices, facilities or recruiters that will take a chance with an Apprentice. My experience and knowledge from ten years dealing with the revenue cycle of a few major health systems in Connecticut and HMR, as well as billing and auth would be an asset to your facility or practice.
Thank you,
Meegan Sweeney, CPC-A
