Please help if you can. Our physician did a resection of longitudinal vaginal septum before a vaginal delivery. I have never billed this before. I do not know where to start. Can someone please help me?

Yes. If done on the date of delivery you may have to add a modifier for a secondary procedure with the delivery code, but as there is no CCI edit with this code so you should not have to use a modifier -59.
