Do we have any particular code for the below procedure or can we code this as a bone biopsy??

CT-guided localization at 2 levels, targeting the right first and
sixth ribs

The patient's prior CT scan was reviewed and the ribs counted from
top to bottom. It is noted there is a small cervical rib on the
right side, not on the left. Aside from the from the right
cervical rib, there are an additional 12 ribs on each side.

Under CT guidance,
11-gauge bone biopsy needles were advanced into the marrow cavity
of the right first and sixth ribs, adjacent to the junction with
the transverse processes. Upon confirmation of position of the
bone biopsy needles in the medullary cavity, a 22-gauge Chiba was
coaxially advanced, and platinum microcoils deployed into each
rib. Additional images were then demonstrated after removal of the
needles, confirming good position of the platinum microcoils in
the right first and sixth rib posteriorly. Sterile dressings were
applied. No immediate complications.

Impression: CT-guided localization of right first and sixth rib posteriorly,
adjacent to the junction with the transverse process. Platinum
microcoils placed into the first and sixth ribs.
Note is made of a small right-sided cervical rib.

You cannot code for a biopsy since there's nothing in the rpeort to state a biopsy was performed.
You will have to use an unlisted procedure code.
