Can someone please help and explain the whole Lisfrac coding.

Op rpt states, fx & dislocation of midfoot including medial cuneiform jnt as well as bone apart 2nd TMT jnt with fracture fragments that were removed at the base of the 2nd MT.

2nd MT fx was reduced as was the dislocation. 3rd TMT jnt was reduced at the same time as well as intercuneiform jnt.

K-wire & screws were placed from 1st MT, then the medial cuneiform, then a screw from medical cuneiform into the medial cuneiform under lag reduction and a lag screw from medial cuneiform into 2nd MT.

Additional incision over 3rd TMT jnt that was reduced and fixed with a screw from 3rd MT base into medial cuneiform. 4th TMT jnt was reduced & screw placed from 4th MT into Cuboid with additional percutaneous screw placed from 5th MT into Cuboid holding reduction of 4th & 5th TMT joints.

Doc coded 28555, 28485 and 28615. I am thinking that more codes should be billed. Can someone please advise.

Thank you.
