We are an FQHC billing for a dually-credentialed provider that provides medication management services to our behavioral health patients. This provider is a LIMHP & PA.
When we were submitting claims for him to NGS with 99213 or 99214 under his PA credentials prior to the PPS we were getting paid. Now the claims we have submitted with 99213 and G0470 are being denied by NGS stating the G0470 is only billable with 90791, 90792, 90832, 90834, 90837, 90839, and 90845.
We can't submit the 99213 with G0467 as he is providing the service in our BH dept, not our Medical dept, and some of our patients will see him and one of our Medical providers on the same date, so we would run into OV coding issues there.
Does anyone know how to code these visits and get paid from NGS for them?
