In the scenario below, what would be the level of HPI?
HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS: The patient is a 57-year-old white male who presents with hypertension, hyperglycemia, and greater trochanteric bursitis. The patient has been under treatment for greater trochanteric bursitis with Lortab and Naprosyn. He returns today because of increasing left hip pain. Yesterday, in the emergency room, he was noted to be significantly hypertensive and hyperglycemic. He is unaware of having a history of either.
Location? hip
Duration? 1 day (seen in ED yesterday)
Would the prescriptions of Lortab and Naprosyn be considered modifying factors?
Are there any other elements present?
Thanks for the help!
