Wiki Lengthening of the Right Lower Extremity through Endoprosthesis

Good morning, we are currently billing Florida Medicaid for a Lengthening of the right lower extremity through endoprosthesis using CPT 27599. However, we have been denied because of the CPT. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which CPT would be most appropriate for the service provided?

Lenthing by endoprosthesis

I code to the nearest area, ie. total hip or total knee with modifier 22. With medicaid ,did you precert a code first, that may be your problem if you did not bill the exact code.
