10180 was authorized but I'm wandering if 26991 might be more appropriate. Dx: left hip pain, iliopsoas bursitis & positive Synovasure
Description of Procedure: ...Dissection was carried down to the subcutaneous tissue. The fascia overlying the tensor fascia lata was identified and sharply incised. Upon incising the fascia, fluid was encountered. Multiple cultures were obtained, after which retractors were placed around the implant. The implant appeard to be well fixed without any signs of loosening. The hip was then copiosly irrigated after which a drain was placed within the intraarticular portion of the hip joint.
Please help. Thanks,
