Wiki Laparoscopy with moderate adhesiolysis

Hello,

I have a surgery for laparoscopy with moderate ahesiolysis for post op bowel adhesions. The problem I am coming across is that it is post op hysterectomy bso and within the global period. Would this be a 58660? The ovaries and tubes are gone so I was not sure if I am correct on this? Would this also be considered a related procedure to the first one?

If they bought pt back due to the post op bowel adhesions from the hysterectomy(that was done) then you would code the lap of adhesions with modifier.

It seems they came in originally for a post op abscess but the obgyn had to consult gen surgery to drain it and finish the lysis of adhesions.
