Wiki Lactation consultations

Hi - I have found out one of our hospitals will charge patients for these services - if they have delivered the baby at another hospital. If they delivered at ours, they state that these consultations are part of the delivery services. This doesn't sound right to me - I would think we would have to charge all patients (we don't bill the payers - the patient pays a service and files the claim herself). Does anyone else have experience with coding or billing for these services?
