I have a sticky one here - we have a patient who sustained a w/c injury to his knee, has acl and pcl instability, has undergone several knee surgeries to repair torn ligaments and deal with the instability. Now has cystic formation of proximal tib with weakening of the bone structure. Before we can proceed with any other surgery to repair the laxity of the knee structure, doc wants to due synthetic bone grafting to the knee area, ie tib/fib. I don't know where to start with the codes and i hope someone can help point me in the right direction. Please help with suggestions, i am desperate.
