Patient came in for follow up visit. Patient spontaneously passed stones and no further stones seen. Provider reviewed stone prevention. Since she no longer has stones. would you use the dx code Z87.442 or would you use N20.1 since she came in and stone prevention was reviewed.

5 mm left UPJ calculus, resolved.
 She was able to pass this spontaneously
 Stone analysis was 20% calcium oxalate and 80% uric acid
 We discussed her stone analysis and handouts were given. Recommend fluid intake of 2.5-3 Liters a day (no dark colas, black tea or cranberry juice), decreased oxalate and purines in foods, add lemon to water, limit sodium to less than 2000 mg per day, drink milk with each meal to help bind dietary calcium.
 Will obtain labs: Serum calcium, phosphorus, PTH, uric acid and vitamin D
