I recieved a Medicare Remit stating that J1040 should be billed to the SNF that the patient is in.
MA101: A skilled nursing facility (SNF) is responsible for payment of outside providers who furnish these services/supplies to residents.
The patient was seen in our Dr's office, not at the SNF.
I'm not understanding the information I found online & would really appreciate some help! Please & Thanks!!
