If a med is documented as IVP does a stop time have to be documented also? Is there a site to print these guidelines? Thank you in advance.

I don't know of any requirement for start/stop times for IVP. Cahaba GBA?s position is that an infusion w/o start /stop times will be reimbursed as an IVP.

I think IVP times may be helpful when performed with other time-based services (infusion or hydration) because they can not be reported concurrently.
