Hello, I work in the physician office setting. I have a provider asking me what he can bill for the following, "I talking to the nursing home for an update on patient's progress. I then compiled a letter to submit on her behalf for the review of her stay in the nursing home. 45 minutes spent on the above activities on her behalf at the request of her husband." The patient has Medicare. Is this a billable service? I am unable to locate anything. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!
