I am new to billing for these services. We are doing IOP services and the LCMHC/MLADC is viewing 80305 presumptive drug screening urines. Is this a billable service within the providers scope of practice or does a medical practitioner need to sign off on this? I look forward to any help I can get with this. Thanks,
 
Do you guys have a CLIA waiver?
I also think you need a medical provider to order the drug screen for it to be a billable service. It must also meet medical necessity.
