Wiki Intravascular Ultrasound - Non Coronary 37250/37251

Hi coders,

I have a physician who does a lot of these and usually in multiple vessels on different sides. I know CPT says you can bill per vessel but I was wondering are there any tips, suggestions out there?

Right side: IVUS of
1 right ext iliac
2 right common iliac
3 right sfa

Left side: IVUS of
1 left common
2 left external
3 left sfa

Would you feel comfortable billing for all of those? I don't know why I feel uneasy about it but I do.
