Can anyone help me for the exact CPT code of intraperitoneal port evaluation.
The patient skin overlying port was prepped and draped in a sterile fashion. The port was accessed using a huber needle. Contrast was injected through the port under fluoroscopic evaluation. The port and catheter shows no leak contrast extravasation obstruction or kinking. Contrast was seen easily flowing into the peritoneum. An additional 50cc of sterile noraml saline was injected without resistance. No pain or infusion. 2000 units of heparin was instilled into the port and the huber needle was tehn removed. Subsequent CT of the pelvis shows contrast to be in the left paracolic gutter and left anterior abdomen. Tip of the catheter is in the posterior left lower quadrant.
