(preface: I'm a newly minted coder)-I've been seeing a few of the providers I code for use internal brace augmentation in their knee surgeries/ repairs, most recently a MCL repair. The Dr specifically states this as a separate procedure on the operative report. Is this something that is included in a reconstruction/ repair or can i use the unlisted code for it separately? is there a code for this? Thanks for your help.
