Hello! Needing some advice from some IPG pros...
Backstory: Pt had Inspire implanted in 2022, no complications. In November 2023, he underwent an emergency surgery for aortic dissection. Since then, he's had significant pain at the site of the IPG. The same implanting surgeon went in 2/2024, enlarged the pocket, removed the sutures, dissected the leads from the fascia, then closed up. Nothing was implanted, nothing was removed (except the sutures).

Procedure note:
"Using blunt and sharp dissection, the IPG pocket was widely open, avoiding excessive traction on the electrodes. There was quite a bit of scarring around the IPG, but nothing unusual. The 2-0 silk sutures that were used to secure the IPG were divided and the silk was removed. The IPG pocket was enlarged considerably, the electrodes/leads dissected from the fascia, and the force vector changed to minimize any potential tension on the leads. The wound was irrigated with antibiotic irrigation. The IPG was placed into the supraclavicular pocket without silk sutures."

61888 was on initial claim and denied. Would 64583 +/- mod 52 apply here or is 61888 appropriate? All dx codes are included per Inspire physician billing guidelines below:
