Hello everyone...
I have been recieving denials from Georgia Medicaid stating that the add on code 90833 cannot be billed with an Inpatient E/M. It is saying that either the E/M code has to be billed or the 90833 needs to be billed.
I have read my CPT book and it clearly states that 90833 can be reported with an E/M service. (Use 90833 in conjunction with 99201-99255, 99304-99337, 99341-99350)
I was curious if anyone else was having this same issue? And if so, what did you do?
