ex: A patient is in an acute medical stay and is being discharged on 6/25/10 from that medical stay and being admitted to rehab the same day. The PM&R provider did a consult for that patient (on 6/25)while they were in the medical stay and is now also the admitting provider for the intial rehab stay. Can that provider bill a consult(on medical stay) and an admit(rehab) on the same day?-
