Yeah I have a H&P for when the patient was admitted and a delivery note. I am not billing these globally so I bill for both. I wasn't sure if I bill the same codes that I would use for the delivery since technically they didn't deliver at admission but if I don't and there are no pregnancy complication or complications causing her to come in then I don't know what else to use because the only info I have is that they cam in due to water breaking and having contractions.Correct, there is no dx for spontaneous labor.. are you coding a delivery note?

I understand that. When we bill non global we have situations where our set guidelines allow us to bill them separately which is why I am asking if anyone knows which diagnosis to use.
