Wiki Injections

Dr. gave an injection in both knees with Euflexxa (J7323). I have been reading some older posts on AAPC, and some are saying that I would need to use a RT and LT HCPCS to the J code. I have never heard of this, but maybe it's something new. I would appreciate any input on this ASAP!!

Some carriers require you to use two lines and a RT/LT modifier such as martin's Point.
Some require two lines and a 50 modifier on the second such as Cigna. You must check with the carrier to determine how to bill the injections.
