Patients are scheduled to come into the office for a testosterone injection, a BCG instillation or TNS procedure there is a Nurse Practitioner in the office but no physician. Under Medicare guidelines we would bill under the Nurse Practitioner's NPI correct?

One other part of the question is... The ancillary nurse would be the one giving the testosterone injection, BCG or TNS. Can the Nurse practitioner "supervise" her doing these things? I know that a Mid-Level's can not "supervise" a diagnostic test (they can perform it but they cannot supervise it) but I'm not sure about injections, BCG or TNS. Thanks
