Wiki Infusion Therapy in the Doctor's Office

My question is this: can a doctor's office be paid for infusion therapy of Biologicals in his clinic? The codes are available but the doctor has been told that Medicare will not reimburse. That doesn't seem to make sense if he meets medical necessity. Please advise.
