I need some information on fluoroscopy my ortho docs use it all the time (they have it in the office). I need some reference materials so I can be sure we are billing for it correctly. Thank you in advance for any help.
I work in hospital setting and we have physicians in ambulatory surgery who will perform fluoroscopy during surgery to check placement of pins, spinal surgeries to check correct levels, etc. Getting mixed messages as to whether these are seperate procedures and can be billed witht he surgical codes.
