We have a question in our office regarding the following: If a PA consults with the supervising physician, does this contribute 2 points to the level as according to Medicare guidelines? My understanding is if the PA or Physician consults with another Dr outside of the setting (Specialist, etc), this can potentially increase the level by adding 2 points.
