We continue to have debates in our office about the correct way to bill our PAs and NPs.
We are an FQHC, so we bill all our claims under our facility NPI on line 33a, even though our place of service is office.
Should we be billing our PAs and NPs under a supervising provider on line 24J, or their own NPI? The mid-levels are not individually credentialed with insurances.
Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks.![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
