Can someone tell me if we can bill for an implant that the doctor has implanted....then he took out to put in the correct size. If he documents what
he did and why, is it possible to bill for the implants in stead of eating the charge?
I used to bill for heart stents (very Pricey), and as long as the physician documented why he had to go to another size or type of implant, we could bill for it.
Does anyone have any clear cut answers to this question??? help please
