I need help with this.

Our surgeron wants to bill 27245 intertroch fracture and 27245 subtroch fracture on the same side. He states that it is two differant fractures that he is treating. I have read the coding companion, and the code does state site specific. I say only one rod is being implanted. Am I right.

hmmmm..I think I had one of these before. My thought process is that he is only using one method to contain/repair both fractures though. Is that what you are thinking?
