My providers just hand out the cards and the patients return them to a lab outside our facility. To me this seems like just an order type situation not a billable charge. My quality team is wanting them billed so that we can track them more easily. Any suggestions on how to handle this? References I can print off? I looked on CMS and couldn't find anything definitive.
