I'm having trouble deciding which way to code this I&D based on the documentation.
Any advice? Would it be inappropriate to consider 41800 based on the incision approach?

I&D Facial Abscess
We proceeded with the abscess drainage. Intraoral approach was taken. We made our incisions in the sublabial crease above the gingival line making the incision with a #15 blade. With the aid of the hemostat, we then spread the tissues until we entered superiorly into a large abscess pocket. A alrage amount of purulent discharge was expressed. Once drained, a large penrose drain was placed and secured.
