thanks for looking

Using ultrasound guidance, micropuncture kit, and
modified Seldinger technique, a long 25 cm 8-French sheath placed in the right
common femoral vein and a short 6-French sheath placed in right common femoral
vein. We then administered heparin to maintain a therapeutic ACT throughout the
procedure and then performed ICE echocardiography. The ICE catheter was placed
in the right atrium and we were able to visualize the interatrial septum. There
was no evidence of color Doppler jet to suggest a shunt. Furthermore, we
performed a bubble study with ICE visualization. There was no evidence of
bubbles crossing over them, three separate bubble studies. I then performed a
venography of the SVC, which was patent with a normal return. At this time, we
then removed the catheters and wires .
