Curious, does anyone know of a website you can go to type in a diag eg:hypertension and get a dx code to pop up. One of the girls at work said she had one however her computer was changed out and she lost the website. Thanks

There are a number of software packages (3M, IMO), etc. that do this, but I've found that nothing really replaces the books. Use the search engines for those strightforward codes, but for any complex or multiple-code diagnoses, I would recommend you consult the ICD-9 book so that you code with specificity and sequence properly.

Great site thanks,,at the least it will get you to where you need to be if you need to be more specific.
Thanks, Reming55
