Scant benign endocervical curettings.
Negative for dysplasia.

The patient's previous ThinPrep is reviewed. LSIL cells are seen within an atrophic background, but similar dysplastic cells are not captured in today's biopsy material.

I am looking for a dx code or whether I should consult referring physician. Thanks.

Basically, the pathologist is saying that the ECC does not show the source of the LSIL that was seen on the Pap. In this case, you would use the code that was used for the abnormal Pap. I presume from this note that the Pap was LSIL, which is 795.03.
