Hello Fellow Health Care Professional.
I am a Graduate Student seeking a Master of Professionals Studies, with a concentration in Training and Development, and a specialization in Online Learning.
Currently, I am working on my thesis. The purpose of this study is to identify the most effective components of a training program that instructs medical billers and coders in the application of accurate assignment of the International Classification of Diseases Tenth Revision (ICD-10) code sets. To identify these components the researcher will use Kirkpatrick's Four Level Evaluation Model to identify reaction to training programs, measure-coding skills obtained through training, assess job performance after training, and correlate outcome of training with organizational expectations. Results of this study may assist medical facilities select an ICD-10 training program that is in align with organizational goals.
